Re-think

After looking through the film we took of the poker scene, we made an agreement as the group that it was not sufficient enough. The film did not contain enough portrayal of the people around the table and their expression, instead there was too much focus on the game of poker itself. It generally needed more put into it.

So, we have planned to film the scene again at another date perhaps keeping some shots from the first filming. A good example we have taken inspiration from was the film Casino Royale (2006) by director Martin Campbell. It features a gripping poker scene where there is a heavy focus on the characters: James Bond and the villain of the film Le Chiffre. Mainly the scene concentrates on the intense staring between the two players. We hope to mimic this style when we film the second time.
